It's been exciting over the past few months at Andy Soul Entertainment. Not only have we been busy filling our gig schedule, and watching the awe inspiring results of our labours, but recently Andy Soul and his band "Phazers On Stun" were invited by the people at MELA! Festivals to participate in their annual Canada Day celebration.
If you're going to be in the Vancouver area on Canada Day, I highly recommend checking out MELA! Festivals at Granville Island. Be sure to catch a performance from "Phazers On Stun" either at 3:00 PM or 6:00 PM.

Chris Feige - Pianist
CHRIS FEIGE - PIANIST
Chris Feige is a pianist and composer with more than twenty years' experience in classical and jazz performance, including eight years' experience accompanying singers and instrumentalists. His diverse performance history includes numerous large and small jazz ensembles, new music ensembles, Vancouver's Opera Mariposa, and pop/rock bands including Toronto-based JacksonLIVE and currently, Vancouver's "Phazers On Stun". Chris has recently returned to Vancouver to study music education after having completed a master's degree in composition from York University in Toronto. He will be commencing the teaching program during the Fall Semester of 2016 at UBC to become a music teacher.
Jose Antonio Alvarez Zambrano - Lead Guitarist
JOSE ANTONIO ALVAREZ ZAMBRANO ("JAAZ") - LEAD GUITARIST
Jose Antonio Alvarez Zambrano has five years of experience playing Latin Jazz fusion style as the lead guitarist with a full orchestra while living in Ecuador. When he came to Canada, he continued his musical talent by performing at various venues along side local talents, playing different genres of music over the years. His skill on the guitar is diverse and his cutting edge versatile sound speaks volumes of his capabilities on the 'axe'.
Randy Wetmore - Bass Guitarist
RANDY WETMORE - BASS GUITARIST
With a Bachelor's Degree in Jazz for STFX and more than 15 years of stage experience, Randy Wetmore feels comfortable composing, arranging, and accompanying musicians of all backgrounds. Wetmore's playing style is rooted in fusion and modern jazz taking cues from Herbie Hancock's head hunters, MMJ, John Scofield, but also feels comfortable with a diverse array of standards, blues, funk, and rock.
Andrew Elgin - DRUMMER / VOCALIST
ANDREW ELGIN - DRUMMER / VOCALIST
Andrew Elgin played with the Douglas College Jazz Band for 2 years,took a jazz intensive summer course and has experience playing in a jazz combo as a percussionist. He is also a current member of the Delta Concert Band as a French Horn player. He has performed at various venues with this band and has regular rehearsals with this group of professionals.
Andy Soul - Rhythm Guitarist / Lead Vocalist
ANDY SOUL - LEAD VOCALIST / RHYTHM GUITARIST
Andy Soul performed in the jazz and concert band throughout secondary school. His main instrument was the tenor and baritone saxophone. He has performed at various venues as a soloist and member of a cover band in the last several years developing his skills on guitar and singing. He also attended vocal lessons at the Guilford School of Dance and Music.
