I continued with my pursuit of music as a tenor saxophonist with my high-school jazz band and continued to develop my musical skills as a guitarist and singer. I then formed a band as lead singer of "Phazers On Stun", performing covers of classic rock, blues, 80's, and pop tunes at several neighbourhood pubs and lounges in Vancouver.

While simultaneously performing in my band and DJ'ing, I started my own mobile DJ company and live band service, entitled "Andy Soul Entertainment". After just a few years of running the business, there was an increased demand from wedding and corporate clients for DJ'ing services. Based on this, I placed an increased focus on developing my DJ'ing-related ambitions, taking a break from the band.

As a DJ, I have performed at various special events with several corporate names including Pemberton Music Festival, VGC International School, New Image College, Steve Nash Fitness World, SpinHouse, Gold's Gym, Armani Exchange, and Hugo Boss just to name a few! As well, I have been hired each year to DJ for several government agencies for various holiday parties. I was also a resident DJ at both Moxie's Bar & Grill Guildford and the "ILoveKickBoxing" Coquitlam studio. At this time, I am a resident DJ with F45 Training (fitness studio), getting their morning classes energized on a weekly basis!

Through my company, I have DJ'd a multitude of events, including cultural/fusion weddings and corporate functions. I have maintained a 5 Star business rating on Weddingwire.ca and Facebook business account. When not DJ'ing events with Andy Soul Entertainment, I also work for Canada's LEADING Wedding DJ company, Airwaves Music. I find that DJ'ing weddings is such an amazing experience in knowing that the service provided contributes to everlasting memories of the newlyweds' monumental day. I treat each wedding as a cherished milestone event in my DJ'ing career.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic, I have continued to keep my DJ'ing skills sharp by DJ'ing virtual events. As well, I have been able to adapt to the "new normal" by providing DJ'ing services with a modified program. I aim to work with clients and venues within the scope of precautionary measures as dancefloors gradually re-open.

Singer, Artist, Promoter, and mobile DJ company owner - these roles play an integral part in developing my business.

But as a DJ, it's all about setting up the groove on the dance floor, taking the party-goers on a musical journey, and maintaining the energy, regardless of era, category, tempo, or genre of music.
